Hobie - Taipan projectiles generally have very light jackets and soft non- bonded cores. They can perform quite spectaculaly on light-skinned game - particularly the giant grasshoppers that we have in Australia. Probably what they were designed for? I haven't used their 215 grainers in 303 British except for range shooting but their lighter hollow points (150 - 124 gn)seem to expand reliably, which is not always the case with HP's. For heavier game, I would suggest that Woodleigh 215 gn Round Nose would be a better bet in that weight. Alternatively, their new 174 gn Protected Point would be worth a look.
