I guess I would like to see some photos as well of the failures..not doubting your word, just have never experienced it myself...probably don't have anywhere near the experience as some, but have probably shot in excess of 50 African animals and probably close to that in American animals with no failures at all...

In fact just the opposite--on the ones I have recovered..where in larger plains game or DG..the weight retention has been in excess of 85% with excellent mushroom of about 2 1/2 times.
