I agree to an extent on the bullet sizing comment, but with the 30 to 40 moulds I have here, the only bullets that I don't routinely put through a lubricator/sizer are roundball.
Everything else sees the lubrisizer before it sees brass.

Great point on knowing your rifle -- it's amazing to see what folks will attempt to stuff down the bores of their rifles.

I haven't tried it yet, but I think that software would allow someone to design a 'heeled' bullet mould, where the base and body (as in gas-check design) is smaller in diameter than the nose.
