PATENT FOUR BARREL BREECH LOADING HAMMERLESS SMOOTH BORE RIFLE', Thorn second (improved) patent double-action rotating striker patent four-barrelled treble-grip action, patent no. 213 of 1882, the rear trigger drawing the action to full cock, the front trigger firing the mechanism, removable striker discs (dot marked 1-4), Jones patent rotary underlever, carved fences, beaded border engraving, retaining slight traces of original colour-hardening, 15in. well-figured straight-hand stock with cheekpiece and steel buttplate (retaining some original blued finish), weight 9lb. 10oz.
