Well my personal idea about a hunter is not just any one who is a great shot but then he should be a great tracker and understand the animal he shoots .I dont really know many princes who come under this cathegory.They come with a huge retinue of gun bearers guards,guides a dozen hounds to corner the animal for them and to top it a few sat on elephants with another dozen elephants near them .All they did was shoot .Thats makes them a great shooter not a great hunter.
A hunter is one who goes in alone maybe with a tracker or a native or two to help him carry his ivory and tracks and hunt sthe animal , not the ones who have a mini army along with them.
This is my personal opinion not many might agree but then I do have weired notions for example I think its no fun shooting a lion which despite knowing you there could not give a damm(I think i saw one in a mark sullivan video,not shot by him ofcourse) .I would much rather prefer shooting one even if it makes a sucked up trophy as long as they animal that I shoot makes it as diffiuclt and dangerous for me .Frankly where is the pleasure in having tusks taller than you in you living room if u know u shoot the Bull while it was busy filling its tummy and did not even know you were there.
