I must say, that if I had realized how fast they were moving, I would have lead out another foot and taken the shoulders and hopefully the heart. As a result, I hit only lung and ribs. Does make for a nice meal of heart though. I do like heart. The shot was where I wanted horizontal, but was still about 4-6 inches farther back than I thought. I took the shot at the timing also not to hit another deer in the run. He just passed a big doe. Yes, big caliber and power work well when they hit resistance and the right spot. It doesn't make up for a poorly placed shot.
