Mauser butt plates

Has anyone used one of these? Says made of urathane.

Any good or garbage and too cheezy? I have a old backlite butt plate on a Husqvarna, Im restocking and serching for a butt plate rather than useing a pad.

Did Mauser ever use anything like this or just steel?
