I'd call it a good hunting rifle with lots and lots of ultra cool vintage brit character.

I agree the stock looks like a replacement, and it's obviously been re-blued.
The blue job was preceded with a ham-fisted engagement with a hard buffing wheel, notice the lettering, the matting on the action ring, and many of the crispness of the metal features are somewhat 'smeared' from the pre-blue 'polishing' efforts.
That will definitely detract from the collector value.

It's awfully cool though, and assuming there aren't any significant problems with the bore (or elsewhere) someone's going to end up with a really fun hunting rifle.
