When I shoot from bench for accuracy, I make a rest for my arms, elbows, if I do not hold the rifle with my hands just the way I shoot off the sticks, it changes point of impact. When I shoot off sticks, I rest my hand on sticks, with a double, i never rest any part of the gun.
It works for me
