If you want a deer "stopper" and don't want to walk far after you shoot them--consider a Federal 12 gauge sabot slug. The slug is a Barnes copper hollowpoint and mushrooms open for really devastating results.Hit them right and its like hitting them with a hammer!!
I'm thinking this would also make a h*lluva Leopard shell if a SXS shotty was used.And your good to 100+yds with a rifled barrel!!
