I wonder if they will build them with the same profile
and stock design of old.

Would be interesting to hear if they have built any.

Just interested in the 505Gibbs cartridge and have not seen a original Gibbs in a picture only a Vickers and the modern types of course.

Well give me a call and arrange a time
to come round and I'll get the gun out
of storage and have it here for you to
look at.

Anyway, I need to give it it's annual
shoot and clean.

Thanks for that !

Long time ago hey.

For those interested, that is an identical
replacement stock in every way to the original.
It is probably slightly larger overall
(ie 1 mm all over) to allow for a refinish.

The old stock is kept aside so it doesn't get broken.
