who are the best shots on live game etc and why?

i will start the ball rolling and declare that because of sheer amount of accurate shooting the pro`s that are knocking more than 100 roo`s a night (head shots) or some of the pro rabbit men shooting anything up to 4/5 hundred (head shots 22) a night. These fellas of course use a rest and out of the truck window but they shoot every night in every weather condition as well,just because its windy dosent stop them going out to work etc.Wether the targets are "game" or not but they are at least live animals not plastic birds or paper targets.
Of course there are those fella`s that will stand up to dangerous or not so dangerous game in the face of adversity too that are cool enough to place a kill shot under duress,they come into the equation as well of course.
And there are those fellas that take running game with often only one shot in all kinds of conditions as well that are in the running ...lets hear you guy`s and your idea`s on the thread!

I'd rate pro Roo/Rabbit?fox shooters up there. Also the African PH who's life, and the life of his client, is on the line, would have to be a good shot as well. If your clients keep getting eaten it would be bad for business

If your the hunter that has one trip hunting a year (and not even go to a range)then you won't be as competent as someone that goes out all the time. I know myself that my shooting has imporved since moving to the NT. I get out at least once a fortnight in the dry and my shooting skills on running animals has greatly improved.

Hi,
I am sure cullers (especially those old NZ deer cullers that used to hunt on foot). Come to think of it shooting running game from a chopper must be quite a challenge too....
My limited knowledge of kangaroo culling says that the help of spotlights and rests, coupled with a large quantity of not very intelligent targets might make for more impressive results than, a cull of deer or antelope in RSA.
Perhaps I should restrict myself to the 'bad shots' thread, I am a bloody expert there
