pimping the double

Hydraulics?

One could have some of those splish-splash mercury recoil reducers installed!!

Better yet, chrome the barrels and receiver, gold plate the sights, high gloss the stock with zebra stripes and air brush "Nitro Daddy" on both sides of the fore end.

And a gold mesh sling.

Hey guys!!

You forgot the custom fiberglass thumbhole multicolored stock to paint the Zebra stripes and "Nitro Daddy" on.

Gotta make it REAL LIGHT and shoot about a .577,3" bore.

That way if someones taste is really that bad you can knock him unconscious and break him of his habit!! More than likely he will never shoot a gun again. Could be good for our sport!!

ROTFLMAO!!

We forgot the headphones. And the DVD hydraulic (there you go) accessory that moves a movie screen hidden in the stock that ejects to the front at the touch of a button on the chain trigger guard and shows a DVD loaded in into the butt player.

Thats what I'm talking about!

Chas - loved the chain trigger guard. The topping on the cake. But the high tech stuff truly pimps the double.

John, you can do this. And you can make a lot of money. Lots of bling. Nitro Daddy.

WVFRED,

Your post reminded me. 12 to 15 years ago a friend of mine had a M70 Winchester that had an AM/FM radio built in the buttstock. It was made that way at the Winchester custom shop. This is no joke! I saw this rifle and handled it myself. It's still out there somewhere.

A speaker or headphones? Good way to keep up with the football scores while hunting.

There's always the paint, nekked ladies, and happy faces the trap shooters use on their stocks.

Purdey built a very small number of double rifles with electric sights - tiny bulbs inside the front sight - is it pimping when they're made by Purdey?

chromed heat shields mounted on the barrels. Why not electronic triggers

Now I don't mean to be insulting, but you guys have no imagination whatsoever.

If you really want to pimp one up, here's the golden opportunity. YOU get to order the engraving! Just think of the gold inlaid nekkid women and serpents that could be put on this already space-age design:

You get the picture? Think how proud your friends and neighbors will be when you show up with THAT pimpmobile!

Place your orders now. Galazan

I actually saw Rusty hold and fondle this rifle. 375 H&H. I refused to let it touch my hands.

Now Rusty is a great man and my friend. And maybe he was just "experimenting". I am certain he never realized this was the transvestite of doubles. An ugly wanton woman of size that will come through after 2 AM. I had a near experience with that 20 years ago, and I pray to thins day that I was still sober enough to rebuff...the buff. My Lord!

Me? The right hand comforteth me. Then I sleepeth alone. Never to hath to cheeweth my arm off.

Rusty has been AWOL recently. And perhaps he has made that rifed beast his concubine.

Rusty, please say it ain't so!!!

All kidding aside, if you can out shoot the man, the drinks are on me (not talking about body shots).

Egad!
It is a sad day when your friend makes fun fo you on the forum and even a sadder day when he has to email to you to go check the thread and read his insults!

Et tu, Griz?

How can I tell our brethern that I single handly prevented Jim from ordering the plastic stock and Realtree camo barrels on his new double. Was there anyone else there to prevent him from ordering the "Laser Grip Adaptor and the Extra wide foam padded pho zebra skin sling with an Ipod docking station"?
NO, it was me!

Damn you're right Curly. I wonder if you could order one and get that H&H "Dallas" engraving motif that we all love! Or, perhaps that too passé nowadays, perhaps a "Desperate Housewives" motif?

But no! Who needs Dallas when you can do a more personal touch? With just a quick Google search I found an engraver who will do a gold plated background with cameos of all your cousins and uncles on the side. Here's an example of the Smith family (remember, THIS COULD BE YOU):

Here's all the little snot noses carved in the side of the stock!

And how's this for checkering?

You can even advertise your business:

Here's a touching effect:

Who needs a family photo album? Ye can put yer fambly on the side of yer double!!!!!!!!

Only for you, my friend. And I'm not going to great pains. Don't have a scanner.

For those of you who are not IN THE KNOW let me tell you that this fabulous work of art is featured in glossy color (or colour for you who speak the "other" English) on page 20 of the Holland & Holland catalog. No joke! Here's a shot of the cover:

I guess you can be a high-falootin' maker of London best guns and still have the culture of trailer trash. It's not appreciably better than the "Smith Family".

Cheers,
