Imm Satin BB,how`s the eye colour!

And believe it or not right in the middle of duck season this pair have a lazy 8 on the ground,pics all taken today.

The Maned Geese (colloquially known as woodies had their ducklings hatch about three days ago.

FYI, the largest clutch of Wood Duck ducklings I ever seen, was 20+ (it may have been 23?)!
They were at a place that I used to work at, and they only lost one between my initial count, and being old enough to flying off!

Really nice photos mate, we had heaps of them around our old place up the north coast of NSW as well as the Olive back Oriole's.

Chris there are heaps here too,but shy and furtive and take a lot of work to get pics.They are simply not used to humans and sorf as we appear.

The OBO`s..geezuz I have only ever taken one pic of one that arrived at the house,sang amazingly good then never came back. I had to search my bird book for him.It was a treat!

Wow good one mate of the Bower bird!
Would be a real mission to find the actual nest of these guys - should you choose to accept?
Good to see a good clutch of woodies about, hopefully plenty for the boys next season
