Stockwork Done by My Friend Robert Flerin in Slovenia

After a long time, I was able to convince my friend, Robert Flerin, a stockmaker and stockmaking teacher in Slovenia to share some pictures of his work. He works with thin shelled Slovenian walnut, and builds stocks for several of the Ferlach names, as well as Slovenian Ferlach trained gunmakers who are becoming famous for the quality of their work. Robert has trained Master Stockmakers who work for several other reputable brands - at least one of his students is with Blaser's Custom Shop in San Antonio.

I shall have him send more details, and answer any questions that anyone might have. In the meantime, please enjoy these pictures of guns in progress:
