I have a Brno ZG-47 .270 rifle that will one day be a 10.75x68 or a 9.3x64. Is this action considered a large ring or a small ring? Also, anyone have barrel thread diamentions for this action, or a link to this info?
I've gooogled lots of conflicting info on this

The ZG47 is a large ring action.
Barrel thread is not identical with the standard Mauser thread.

They are a nice action. Good pick up.

Is it difficult to make the ZG-47 feed other calibers then their original chamberings?
I have two in 30-06, and planning on rechamber them to 7x64 and 9,3x62.

IMO all these calibers are in dimensional means so near each others that almost any competent gunsmith could do this work.

No problem at all. 30-06 to 7x64 nothing to alter. 30-06 to 9,3x62 in most cases also nothing to do. Seldom minor adaptation work.

I had my ZG-47 rebored and rechambered from 7X64 to 8X64S. It feeds perfectly. Kills the hell out of deer, also.
