Defiance Machine Builds a CRF Action

Video Link. They plan to offer it for around $ 1700. Glenn Harrison is a highly regarded expert in the firearms industry, and was responsible for the Nesika actions, as well as his current line of precision actions. Hat tip: the 6.5 Guys website. Well worth a visit!

Nice! Defiance makes good stuff, GA Precision has been using their actions for a while now. Another new CRF action is the American Rifle Company Mausignfield, unfortunately they don't offer the 3-position safety.

Another thought. I wonder how each works with Accuracy International AW style magazines when using a DBM system. A compact 10 round DBM like the AW is a nice feature.

The Mausingfield designer plans to offer wood stocked "sporting" rifles on his action, but, only with the same riveted on "tactical" bolt knob. I won't buy one for that reason alone. I did communicate briefly with him.

I've shot a rifle built on the older Nesika action before Glenn Harrison sold the company to Dakota, and it was very, very nice. I plan to talk to them about buying one of their actions when production gets underway.

I can't see any reference to the GAP/Defiance Templar or V2 being CRF actions?

The actions that Defiance builds for GAP are NOT CRF, and that is not something that I have posted either.

I have no idea where you got the impression that I said that, as well.

However, there's a short video link to a yet unnamed action in my post above, that shows a CRF action that Defiance would offer from later this year. It is a short video, actually, and it does show the action in detail.
