WTS Hertel&Reuss Macro-Var 2-7x with Claw Mounts for Rem 721

I bought this scope used, and unseen, a long time ago. It was advertized as having claw mounts for a M98. The scope was as advertized but the mounts were for a Remington 721. Dissappointed I stuffed it in the back of a drawer and promptly forgot about it. I'm sure that never happens to any of you, gentlemen...

So if you would like a classic scope for a classic rifle now's your chance. I'm told that the mount would fit other Remington rifles but I cannot vouch for that since I never tried.

The scope is a Hertel & Reuss Macro-Variabel 2-7 and the reticle is a German 11.

The Claw Mount is marked for the Rem 721 and of the counter claw type; Kontraeinhakmontage. I.e. the rear mount first, then the front. This enables the mount to be used with a large front lens.





Price for both scope and mounts is 150 € + postage from Finland to you. Trades involving Sako/Tikka Optiloc parts or a Win 70 type safety for a M98 could be of interest.

Sending rifle scopes and other non-licenced gun parts from Finland is no problem. I've sent some WWII era collector scopes to both Ohio and Colorado before.

Postage to the US, incl. tracking, would be 7.60 €.
