Purchased the metal work completed. It was done by Dennis Olson. Jim Kobe did the stockwork and rust blue.

What is the final weight? Barrel maker and contour?

I have two Lott projects in planning, yours gives me a little inspiration.

I would say it is a #5 Shilen contour. I do not know the barrel mfg as I bought the barreled action and all metal work as completed by Dennis Olson. I did not commission the metal work, only the stock and rust blue. It weighs 7lb14oz.

Very nice, I like.
I used the same rear sight on my last Lott, that Dennis Olson also worked on.

Very very nice and especially the peep sight. 7lbs 14oz that hurts?

That is a nice bit of kit. The stock is magnificent and you could not get better grain flow through the wrist. To me the peep sight is worth its weight in gold.

How did they open the action to accommodate the Lott.? I would appreciate it if you could share a pic or two of the open action
