A custom .375 H&H Mag. from Denmark
      #227563 - 26/03/13 11:39 PM

Hello everyone.

This time I have a regular stock rifle for you; The Jensen Classic Safari.
She's our big bore model rifle based on the legendary Mauser M98 action, this one completed in exhibition-grade turkish walnut and .375 H&H Mag. configuration.

She'll do 0.5" 3 shot groups on 100 meters.

I hope you enjoy it

The exhibition wood is lovely of cource, but it would ultimately stop me from using it - its a showpiece. The stock design to me is a little bland, but the craftmanship is obviously beyond reproach. Nice rifle and I wouldnt dare ask how much it would set you back, Im thinking second mortgage...

Very nice rifle. The wood is a bit to garish for me. My taste run on to having some slight figure, but that's just me. I do like the fron sight.

How many rounds does the magazine hold?

Amazing grain structure in the butt wood.

I could hunt with that - after dulling it a it. S'pose after a few weeks out in the rain and hanging in a wet tent, it'd dull up OK.

Lovely rifle, amazing wood. You are right Daryl, take anything out, get it scratched up and wet a bit and it will "dull up"

as new

after 3 safaris

best, Mike

No problem using it. My old 1896 H&H working double rifle. Got some new dings and marks on that safari.

Personally I find the forend a tad straight and cumbersome, the grip too closed, and the stock design is not really to my liking - reminds me of a sauer 202.

I much prefer the clean sporter style stocks.
