Nice rifle Sarge. Can't beat those classic lines. I think our tastes are similar.

Very nice. Good pick up.

I "think" it is almost identical to the one I had.
I'll have to look at my photos if I can find them.

That's a keeper, Congrats. What's the S/N. Put up some detail photos when you get a chance.

Very nice little rifle. To second dons, please post more pictures when you have the time.

I will be unable to take more photos shortly, as I'm taking the rifle to the US, a bit short on funds & need to move her on, a great pity, it was meant to be my 577BPE Hammerless Double rifle funding gun !

Looks like a real peach.
You can bypass dons' house and bring it to me directly.
Colorado is a much nicer place to visit than the N.E. anyway...

Congratulations Sarg.

It must be even more rare in NZ to find such a gun then anywhere else in this world...:LOL

I was however lucky too here the other day to find one in a Copenhagen gunstore. It is a fullstock(stutzen)in 6,5KP just like yours. I donīt collect guns anymore, but when I saw this one and for that price(cheaper than a used Rem700) I wasnīt stupid either. My K-mauser isnīt as nice(collector conditioned) as yours, so I wonīt be afraid to use it mine and worry about finish and tiny scratches that will eventually come when putting a gun into active use.

The K-mausers are a peach. I know of 3 people here in Denmark who has one, but they donīt use it. They are just standing in a vault doing nothing.

Are you going to use yours?.

Rigbymauser,

Would you be good enough to post photos of your find? Kurz action Mauser rifles have an indescribable effect on me.

Thanks,

Bill Warren
