Heym "Deutscher Vierling" (German Four-Barrel- Gun)
      #179733 - 23/04/11 09:50 AM

Here you can see the top, the in German called "Königs-Disziplin" (in english: King Style), the "German Vierling", an gun with four barrels.

Two for the shootgun (12/70, 16/70, pp) and two for the bullets (normaly a smaller and a bigger caliber).

Very difficult to build, but it works great.
Like every Heym, they can be for an collector, but it still can be used in an hard hunt.
In the USA, Oversee, Europe or Africa of course.

Do you have a picture of the side-on profile of the whole rifle-gun? That must take a great deal of time to make.

I've never seen one of those before. I'm just curious, what does one weigh and where is the center of gravity?

I will look for some more photos.

The weight and balance is near to the Heym Doubles, as many of you know.
This works by the material and that the barrels (all together) are a little bit shorter.

A very versatile firearm to carry indeed.

I have seen pictures of a three barrelled rifle (Imo a great system in 9.3x74) but this is the first four barrelled rifle I've heard of. Wow..

It would be a heavy sucker.

Be hard to regulate.
