Hey guys has anyone had any experience with one of these?

It's the only stock I can find commercially available with Cast on and for a Win Model 70. Still trying to sort out my 404!!!!

Regards,

MOG

G'day Kamilaroi,

What's his wait time like?

I am looking at the Synthetic so I have no issues "ïf" I get to go to Alaska after Bears. It holds three down and for the swamps I hang out in I figure it may be a better option.

How is your single shot looking?

Regards,

MOG

Yaama Piggy,

The Martini and the Alex Henry are at Ron Croxon's for a big tickle. Apparently the former has put folks to thinking about what constitutes "best quality" in a 22rf.

The list is long but you might benefit from an intro for any future work.

MOG, I bought one from D'Arcy for a Mod 70 classic 375 build. Great to deal with. Mine is standard fill and he put thresded rod cross bolts (?) in it for me.

Great to deal with and very prompt if he has in stock. For anything bigger than a 375 he reccomend a magnum fill. I haven't tried the stock yet as it is at my gunmakers. However, those that have tried it wanted to buy it! So I sent them his contact details

Cheers, Chris

I had one for a project and sold it to work on my cz. It was comfortable to hold and I think if building a synthetic stocked rifle I'd definitely use one although some of the Mickey stocks for M70s look pretty good as well and some also have built in cast on/off e.g. supergrade pattern.

G'Day Fella's,

MOG, apparently Darcy Echols stocks are actually made for him by McMillan but to his own pattern.

Another option might be the Australian synthetic stock maker "Corporal Trading", if they are still making stocks? I have one on a Jongmans bolt action (in .284 Win), if you would like a look. Sorry, but I don't have any contact details for them.

Hope this helps.
