Hi Neale,

Well done Mate and yes, the photo says it all, your Dad looks like he has 2 D.... and doesn't know which one to play with first. That is a real treasured moment. I and the Forum is looking forward to your story and photos. As you can see none of us let those "Special" sms out only your verbal conquests.

Again well done and please tell your Dad that it is a magnificent trophy.

Cheers Mate,

Jeff

Hi Neale,

I was just going over your photos again and the one with your Hyena..... Boy, there is no way your Dad could disown you and your Sister.

That was one great hunt and one that your Dad, Sister and yourself will remember for time immortal.

Cheers Mate,

Jeff

P.S.

The photo of your buffalo and rifle, when you get the orders going for prints of the hunt, can you get me a 10x8 or larger and I think "Afro 408" will want one for the shop wall and I will fix you up for mine.

I know you'd be flat out with farm commitments at the moment but I will look forward to a hunt and ballistics report when you get time. What rifle was your Dad useing ? Great photos.

Tophet1.
Dad used my 404 for the Buffalo but his rifle is an old Ruger mk1 m77 in 338 win mag loaded with 225 grain Woodleigh Hydro's.His 338 is on its second barrel after firing over 5000 rounds when he used to shoot for the DPI.
Thats the reason for the 6 shot mag.It now has a stainless Maddco barrel that I had blued for him and you would never know it was stainless.
