I assume not an oval bore. It looks somewhat like the boxlock "C" grade Lancaster in the archive photo's here.
Is the price reasonable?

I may be wrong but I think it was the Lancaster oval bore that was discussed in depth.

I don't think that was it.
It must have been on another forum.

This gun was discussed here previously, though it was a long time ago. Cabelas has been sitting on that gun for about 2 years, and no takers. If I recall, we did call on it very early on to get the 411. I don't have my notes next to me at the moment, but if memory serves... It is in poor overall condition, with hardly any of the original rifling left in either bore, wood has seen many poor repairs, and there was light surface pitting everywhere. I would steer WAY clear of this one.

Yes we did, but I remember the bores as fine. It was off face and the stock was toast. I've heard it has since been put back on face, but be very leery about the stock.

You can see in the photos that it was enough off face to peen the doll's head to the rear. I can clearly see a gap between the front contact surfaces of the doll's head and the corresponding surfaces of the action mortise against which they should mate.
I would certainly pass up that one.
