Kimber Caprivi .375 H&H Update
      #83686 - 08/08/07 04:14 AM

Since I haven't been thrilled with any 375's I can get my hands on right now, I called Kimber today to ask when their new 375 is going to available. Kimber says they should be on dealer shelves in September.

Assuming I don't find a Winchester M70 African Custom between now & then I'll probably wait to see one of the Kimbers before buying anything.

I think the Kimber would be a great option if you can hold out.

It better be a real nice gun for $3100 retail. If and when you get one, please post a pic or two since the Kimber site doesn't have a pic on the Caprivi.

I agree, but suspect "street" price will be quite a bit less. For example, Ruger lists their M77 RSM with an MSRP of $2,200 but they can be had for $1,500 to $1,600 without much looking around.

I doubt the Kimber will carry that big of a discount (30+% off MSRP is pretty steep) but also think it won't sell for $3,000
