I ordered one this weekend, made upon on a VZ 24 Millitary Mauser that had parts of the Brno 602 magazine on it, an M70 safety, deep belly magzine, ebony tip forend, low Weaver bases , 4 leaf rear sight, barrelband foresight and sling swivlestud, the , a sturdy working rig.
Included in tjhe price was dies, brass, bullets.
I bought some bullets from an Norwegian gunsmith who also took an look at the magazine to see that the conversion had been done properly to ensure safety features was intact, he looked at it for some minutes and he said , "Approved!!"
The bullets are an 300 grain all copper PBP model that is Norwegian type, an mix between between Barnes X and GSC bullets , they have an bigger expansion hole and they can custome make bullets up to 48 mm if you want it, and they arnt all that expesive either.
Ill post some pictures of the bullets soon.
The price on the rifle 1100 dollars, new price would be about 5000 dollar......
I wont get the Remington .375 RUM then, i saw it and it didnt weigh all that much......

i thought about it , but with the 300 grain bullety it will be not so far away from the 338 KT in energy level or ballistic.
I got in touch with the previous owner and he could tell me that the rifle has seen some hunting as Moose, Red Deer, seal, (the mammal not the US Navy Issued one ), and Grouse, with bullets from 300 grain lead bullet up to Woodleigh, and some other bullets.
