Double Rifles shooting - Oct 14, 2006 - NE Penns.

For anyone who is interested, my father, Doc52 and Mike, who post as Retreever on AR, are going to a public range to shoot some double rifles and other big bore toys. A .577 NE, .500 NE and .450 No 2 will be there, along with anything else people bring.

Saturday October 14th Route 100 South Fogelsville, Pa..8am at the Starlite diner across street from Holiday Inn for breakfast then range time 8 miles away....

I sure would like to be there. Just ran it on MapQuest - it's 350 miles for me, each way. Don't recon I'll make it.

Have a great shoot, and give a report.

I wish I could attend myself, but my schedule is a little jammed that weekend. My dad, Mike and a bunch of other guys try to get together every month for a shoot. It is a great time. One of these days I will make it!

If you ever make the trip, there is a Cabela's store not too far from where they shoot, so you can have another excuse to make the drive.

950 miles for me, though I'm sure our friends down under can easily top that.

It's only 135 miles for me. I wish I knew about it sooner I would have loved to go. I need to practice more with my 470.

That's only about 1 1/2 hours from me. However Saturday early Duck season starts. Told the nephew I'd take him out.

Wish I could make the shoot though. Maybe next time.
