The new PH goes up a thousand to $10,500 in February so order earlier. There will be a lot of orders at the SCI in Reno in January so unless you want a longer weait, order earlier. The classic has a wood and engraving upgrade over the PH which explains the price difference.

Yeah, I also noticed that the action is much more sculpted then on the PH.

I made it to the SCI show yesterday and got a look at Searcy's new model, called the classic. It is a beauty. Butch said he took 13 orders at SCI for the classic alone. Should be a success. Sorry didn't take any pictures but I am sure someone will have some. I highly recomend that anyone interested in a DR take a look at this one before making a decision.

The new "Classic" model has just been listed on Searcy's website. The price is the same as for the deluxe model; 15K.
