Here is a copy of an article originally published in African Hunter Magazine (http://www.africanhuntermagazines.com) that covers the big bore cartridges (used for hunting) from .500 Jeffery up through .600 Overkill and .700 NE.

Dan,

Nice article, how much actual experience to do you personally have with each of these cartridges/calibers? Specifically, how many and what types of game have you taken with each of these cartridges/cailbers? Also, in you expert opinio, is there a significant difference between various cartridges within a single caliber (with respect to dropping a dangerous game animal in a given time interval)?

Finally, hasn't it been nice and cordial since I finally got banned from AR?
