What a great weekend - another 416 Rigby Brevex and a 416 Van Horn. That makes 16 Brevex rifles in the Clan. Apparently the auction house didn't recognize this as a Brevex. However, I did. Researching the history of this rifle will be a real challenge. How did RCBS get involved with building this one?

congratulations, classic big game rifle. RCBS? is this the reloading die set maker?

Perhaps this rifle was made when RCBS decide to resurrect the 416 Rigby, perhaps the mid 80's? I'm sure BGR started here in Oz perhaps in the early 80's, what a calibre to start off with! On a roll Buckstix, makes you wonder if you can find 20!
