Hello everyone in this new year. Are the black fore end tips on the MC and MCA ebony or a plastic?

On early, 1950s - 60s rifles the foreend tips are plastic. On many late, tang safety Mannlicher -Schoenauer rifles the "black foreend tip" and the "white line spacer" are merely painted on the wood.

Thank you Axel. It would have been much more pleasing to my eyes if it was plain or a small schnabel but, I suppose Weatherby influence was great at that time.
