That's pretty severe, but it might be bent enough if done slowly. From the picture the wood isn't the only thing needing bending. The locks may have to be rebuilt, so that all the parts will work. Too bad, because that looks like a very nice old rifle!

That's easy. Find a right-handed shooter who's blind in the right eye and super-deal him! Not much else you can do.

I have seen a picture of a Beretta model 410 shotgun with a similar bent stock. It was made for a right-handed shooter with left master eye. I am a right handed shooter and my dominant eye is the left one, but I would never order a gun with a stock like this!

I'm having surgery on my right eye in a couple of weeks. I'll have to remember that gun in case things don't go well...

The gun could have been made like that - quite a few English Shotguns were made with Cross Over
stocks.

The tang, locks, trigger guard were all made to fit from scratch - as oppsed to bending them later.

The problem is that once it is made like that it would be very hard to put it into a "normal" straight stock.

Straighten the metal work and restock it while keeping the old stock.
Yes it ain't easy but it's doable. Have seen a double rifle that was stocked straight first then stocked cross eyed being fitted to the original stock 20 years later without any problems.

From the side a nice rifle. From the top a nice conversation piece unless one has a crooked neck, is right handed and left eyed.

500grains,

What calibre is it in, if you know?

If I recall, it was 16 ga x 16 ga x 43 Mauser.

Do you think they sell ammo for it at Wal Mart?
