G'Day Fella's,
I'm in need of another (but lighter) .375 H&H rifle. I have narrowed this down to two candidates, the CZ 550 or the Kimber Caprivi.
Whilst I was Googleing around, I came across this below link; https://www.kimberamerica.com/caprivi Can anybody tell me whats wrong with this video? Hint, it starts at the 34 second mark.
Does anybody here, know anybody at Kimber?

G'Day Fella's,
Thanks for your above posts.
I wasn't able to find an email contact to Kimber, so I cut and pasted the link to this thread, on their Face Book page.
As I've been saying for a few years now, "Mediocrity and Incompetence is not only deemed Acceptable these days, it's actually Rewarded". These people (Kimber) are doing their best (and a great job, I must say) in their Machine Shop, but as is so often the case, some of the others are letting their team down.

Homer apart from the boo boo in the video clip I like your choices in rifles. However I would not consider the CZ550 to be light. To me it is somewhat heavy, heavier than my CZ550 in 416 Rigby and way heavier than the Caprivi that I have held.

G'Day Fella's,
Thanks for that info Rule303.
I can't help myself, when it comes to Brno and CZ products..... so hence my interest in the CZ 550. I already have a Ruger M77 MkII (RSM) in 375H&H (@ around 12 pound), so anything will have to be lighter than it.
A mate of mine has a Kimber, Talkeetna (in .375H&H), and I do like it, as the stock fits me well. But I'm put off it, by it's blind magazine. The Caprivi has a hinged floor plate, which makes it easy to clean a days walk worth of crap (sticks, leaves, seeds, sand/dirt and water), out of the magazine.
Regardless of what I choose, I'll Cerakote all the metal work, which give's good protection to the metal, in/under the stock.
