If you are going to put a swivel on the barrel which is better, the barrel band or the type that are soldered on? Does it make a differance in barrel harmonics?

Mickey, all barrels are different and it would be impossible to say if it would effect harmonics, I had a swivel lug fitted to a heavy barreled 30.06 and it shot the same, tiny weeny little groups with 180gners...Les
