Howdy all--been away for awhile but trying to remember the chambering designations on the M1925 rifles--if I recall correctly, KAL 7 NORM is 7x57 and KAL 8 NORM is 8x57JS, KAL 7.62x63 is .30-06; but how did Steyr designate 7x64, 8x60, etc? I've surfed around a bit in the forum but haven't come up with this! Thanks and all best, Malcolm

7x64 was 7x64 all the time, 8x60S marked 8x60 MAGNUM. Here is the receiver ring of my M1925 in 8x60S:  The rifle with one of it’s many victims:
