I do not want to begin an argument, just want to see some pictures of the proof marks on Rigby double rifles made in California.
I hear those rifles had shotgun proof marks.
Just want ot see.

The areas where the proofs were are milled out IIRC. Very effectly eraseing them.

Search through 400 Nitro Express post's on AR
as I think he was the one who posted them.
But not in the thread you posted in,
it's in another thread I think.

I do not have pics, but I can tell you for years Rigby has used Merkel shotgun actions, with some additional machining and re-hardening, for its double rifles. I thought the resulting rifles looked great and came up very nicely.
