Hello again I am going to give the can, the fact is that I like the rifle Ceska in caliber 458 Lott, but my attention enough Ruger No. 1 rifle in that caliber, and thus to create a little controversial and not-disturb course, I put this poll What caliber rifle at 458 Lott, Ceska or Ruger?
Thank you,
Oscar.

No contest for me. No fan of the #1. I have had 3, a ZKK602 458x3", a custom CZ 458win rechambered and a factory CZ Lott. All are gone and I have went back to the old tired bad mouthed 458wm as it finally dawned on me that I can't handle the recoil.

So strong is the recoil in this rifle? You recommend that I buy the Cz rifle in 458 Winchester Magnum ?
Thank you,
Oscar.

.458 is such a bolt gun cartridge, I would have to go rimmed in the #1.

Thank you very much for the answers, I will buy a Ceska 550 in 458 Lott caliber. This rifle is cheaper than Ruger nº 1 and I have got other Cz in 375 H&H Magnum and I like it very much. I have got 463 € ($604.088) and the rifle costs 1100 € ($1436.39) in Spain. I must save more money jeejeje.
Regards,
Oscar.

I will go against the grain here and recommend the Ruger #1. I own one in 458WM and love it. I have fired the 550 in 458WM and it was very nice too but I felt it was just too long. The Ruger is much more compact and the belt is no problem. The only problem with the Ruger is the case head hits the safety when ejecting. Nothing that a good file and a little time can't fix though.
It really boils down to intended use and personal preferance. In my case, the possibility of going to Africa is just a dream. No possibility whatsoever for the forseeable future so the #1 doesn't hinder me in the least. IMHO the #1 is a sexier rifle. I just like the way it looks more than the CZ. If I were going to hunt anything that could bite back, then my choice would most definately be different.

Bloodnativ Hello, I already have reserved the rifle Ceska 550 caliber 458 Lott. It is cheaper than the Ruger rifles. I still do not have the rifle, because I still have to pay some money. We appreciate the response, I know that Ruger is a major manufacturer of weapons, I have a Ruger GP 100 revolver and is very nice, I've not yet tested, but the appearance is impressive.
