New Field Grade Double Rifle:

I'm announcing to the Nitro Express Forum a new rifle that I will be offering for delivery in April 09.
The new rifle model will be called the "Field Grade"and I can take orders now for delivery of the first 10 in April 09.

What do you expect the DR to weigh in 450/400..?

Thanks for the note on your new model of rifle.
Will this rifle be based on the 'classic' shaped action or the more european shaped action as used on your PH model of rifle?

The new Field Grade Double will be the same as the PH Model that I discontinued several months back without engraving and ejectors. It will not have the same configuration as the Classic Model.
The weights are as follows. 450-400-3" - 9.5 to 10 lbs., the 450 3 1/4" and the 470 N.E. - 10 to 10 1/2 lbs. There will not be any custom options available for the Field Grade.
