My newest acquisition...
It has been refinished, but a very nice job at that and in super condition.
I was never really crazy for Greeners, until I saw this one.

And that is one of the nicest refinishes I have seen
- the CCH is really well done IMHO.

The gun was done in England, but unfortunately I don't know by whom.
The colors are fantastic - by far the best on any gun I own - new, original or refinished.
It is regulated for 55gr. of cordite pushing a 320gr. bullet. Built in 1908.
I consider the 360 No.2 a "lost classic". Why this cartridge was overshadowed by the .375 H&H when it is just a couple hundred fps slower, but using a much heavier bullet, I'll never know. All this at lower pressures too.

I'll see how it shoots before committing to a hunt, but I bet it would be great for elk.
It has three folding leaves (100yds, 200yds, 300yds) with no standing sight for the rear.
Nice thing too, the 360 No.2 uses .366" bullets (9.3mm) so there is already three Woodleigh 320 grainers to choose from.

Very very nice, and the .360 No2 NE is a very good cartridge too!
I shot an english double in that chambering for a few years, and it was a very good killer.

Very nice.

I have had 4 360#2 and always thought they were wonderful. Unfortunately some were made on frames that were more fitted for a 470 so were a bit heavier but I had one Lang that would have been the envy of any 9.3 ever made.

I know a guy in Queensland who has one that was reregulated for the 286 grain bullet. He claims 2600fps but I have no idea about pressure.

I have held the .360 No 2 cartridge...I felt in love with it...Now that I have seen a gun in that caliber , I want to get married
