Nice - be a bit of a kicker at just under 8 1/2 pounds. I would expect 9 1/2 would have been better, but then, whomever is in control of the loading, is in control of the recoil generated.

I have no problem with the recoil from .577s and .500s that I've fired but all 3 of the .458s I've owned have beat me into submission.
