Does anyone have a source for a breakdown cleaning rod for my 1903?

Let me check... There is someone who always advertises in the back of the Mannlicher Collector.

They show up on Ebay from time to time. I just checked, though, and don't see any just now.

Here's a link to a PDF of a Mannlicher Collector's Assn. newsletter with Mr. Sparholt's rods on the second page (though numbered 3): Rods

It's ten years old, I've no idea if he still makes them.

Here's an image of a repo set that was listed on Gunbroker in May of '18. The link to them is now dead:

Originally, there were four and five piece sets:

Try emailing Roger Watts at this address alva@wattswalnut.com
I got a repro set from him a year ago and it is very nice. I dont know if he is still making them but it is worth a try.
my best.
Mike

Cleaning rod for my 1903 delivered. Very nicely made 4 pieces. One piece has a slotted end for a patch the other a jag for pushing a patch all the way through. All 4 pieces fit in the butt compartment and do not rattle. A nice addition to my carbine.

Sounds great. How much did they cost?

$85 delivered.
He said he has some in stock but will probably not make any more.
