I have a couple of the sporters. Very nice rifles.
I had read that Military rifles existed at least in rare numbers or obscure issue/contracts. But I was told that they never were made up that way .

7mm Mauser smells like south america but it seems this ended as a german service rifle in 1914

That 1900 is a great looking rifle. Hunting rifle development could have stopped there...
