Full stock 1910's?
      #278272 - 22/02/16 02:13 AM

I'm having to post this via my phone because the net is screwed down pretty tight at work.

Anyway my friend and I are discussing the 1910 MS and he says he doesn't think they ever made a full stock and I am sure I've seen them but couldn't find any in a quick search that I was sure were original full stocked 1910 carbines.

Thanks in advance.

Mart

Full stocked M-Sch M1910s are quite common. It's a matter of national preferences. While the British preferred the longer barrel half stock versions , Germans and Austrians much preferred the full stocked 20" barrel ones. The half-stocked take down versions of the 03,05,08,10 were even called the "English model" by the Steyr factory.

Mart, a full stock 1910 lives just down the street from you. Like I said, we need to get together this spring.

And it appears this one was sold in Calcutta

Phil,

Sorry I didn't respond sooner. I'm on the slope and this site is only accessible on my phone. They have the Internet screwed down pretty tight here.

I'd love to get together for coffee. I'll be home the 15th for a week.

Great looking 1910 by the way.

Mart
