Some photos of Patos .350 Rigby double in happier times. She's since left him for another man. We all loved that girl. Enjoy.

I love that thing.
Shot a few Donkeys with it last time I was there.
175 yards off the shoulder front on. Even surprised myself.

I've got to admit that I'm also quite partial to that type of fore-end lever. So far I haven't owned a rifle with that type yet.

Poor girl, why did she have to leave? Was she mistreated?

I could give her a safe and loving home.

A similar Rifle in same calibre owned by another member;

The Stag was taken at over 100m after a sliding stalk across open ground with two shots to the chest. He just rolled over.

If a Marilyn left you for a JFK, you try and remember the great times that you had together, and not worry about her leaving you too much. Pato surely has a lovely girl hunting with him now. The memories of hunting with this one should be worth their weight in gold.

Don't worry about Pato too much. He has a whole harem hunting with him.

ozhunter,

does that stag have some wapiti genetics? What do you think?

Great to take it with a double in a classic chambering.

Interesting, one of those antlers almost is palmed, the cup is so wide.

Looks like a great day afield. Nice and interesting stag taken with a very nice DR, hard to beat.
