Marcel Thys & Sons – Belgium. 470 Nitro Best Quality Boxlock Ejector Double Rifle

A fine 470 Nitro Best Quality Boxlock Ejector Double Rifle. 24” chopperlump ejector barrels with quarter rib 1 standing fixed blade and 2 folding, font ramped sight, highly figured pistol grip stock with shadowed cheekpiece, grip cap with trap door, 1” old English pad, 14 ½” LOP, makers name in gold gothic script on quarter rib, reinforced action with Elephant on floorplate with surrounding surfaces in intricate scroll, double triggers, beavertail forend with push release, 10lbs. 8ozs., cased with accessories, appears new and unfired manufactured 2002.

Thank you! Yes Thys was a great maker and it's truly sad they closed there doors last year.
