Charles Lancaster shotgun
      #56965 - 12/05/06 06:21 AM

This Charles Lancaster 16 gauge was originaly built for my great-grandfather, and was used by him for years until my grandmother took it over. She then used it for years, until it ended up with my mother where it for the most part has been in her safe since she prefers to use a couple of other newer shotguns. The finish is naturally quite worn from being used actively for so many years, but otherwise it still functions perfectly.

One day it will most likely be handed down to my daughter or son, and hopefully one of their children too in the future.

Thanks guys. And thanks to 400NitroExpress and his wealth of knowledge, I have now learned a bit more about it's history too!

Ps. Mickey, the photos were taken at our place an hour north of Oslo, were we will be moving to in a year.
