Not familar with his work....but @ $9K US for a bolt gun, his prices seem very high!

I do not know the guy but the price seems in the ball park for a double rifle and the fir of the recoil pad is,,,, well poor to say the least. I do know that this rifle in 7mm Mauser built on a G-33-40 action shoots 1/2" groups at 100 yards and cost the owner $4750 scope and all.

It also has a Kiplinger single set trigger, Neidner checkered butt plate and skeleton grip cap.

Very expensive. You could get a Duane Wiebe Mauser with ultra premium components and all the bells and whistles for less then 10K or a Hein for 5-8K.
