I'm pretty familiar with the US version and love the 30-40 cartridge. Had a chance a while back to pick up the Danish model. Interesting barrel shroud and the magazine opens forward rather than to the side. This one is in great shape, made in 1891. I already load for the 8x58r in a rolling block so easy to get her up and running. Groove diameter about the same as the rolling block at .325. It shoots well but I do have trouble seeing the issued sights.

sights were made for 18 years old recruits with good eye's

.325 is a little bit over, .324 should be the norm but I suspect you are still fine with .323 S bullets?

That is one cool rifle!

How's the bore in it?

The bore is great. The sights go to 2000 meters.
