G'Day Fella's,

Mmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm Donuts Ripp!

The T3 is very popular here in Oz as well but the folding stock is frowned upon by the paranoid authorities.
As is typical for Tikka's, they all seem to shoot!

Further to folding stocks, "somebody I know" has designed and manufactures what I believe to be, the slickest folding/chassis stock on the planet.
Unfortunately, I have probably already said to much but when It becomes public, I'll post something here FYI.

Regards
Homer

I like the Tika's but the single stack mag leaves me cold. Wish they had come out with a double stack mag.

In a classic example of our consistent national firearms legislation, Queensland farmers who carried a pistol on the handlebars of their farm bikes for the past decade are now having their renewals denied - the recommendation of Queensland Weapons Licencing is for them to get a rifle with a folding stock.

God Bless Queensland!

In many states yes, for instance the Ruger Precision is cat B in Qld, Victoria and South Australia, and presumably off limits everywhere else due to the folding stock and or resemblance to a Cat D

If you dont fold the stock you have to rely on a bore snake etc

Little update on the Tikka T3.

Have to say for the $$, IMHO, they are a heck of a bargain..picked up another for my wife ashort time ago in 22.250 caliber....went out shooting/setting it up for the upcoming pronghorn season ..put a Leupold 4.5-14 on it..

Factory Remington ammo--50gr BT..shooting 1/2 inch to 3/4 inch 3 shot groups ..not too bad for factory ammo/stock rifle..have several of these now and they all shoot well..

As for the Pronghorn, you are in deep shit when the little Mrs. gets her scope on you..

They are a lot of gun for the price. Not many complaints about them.
